Volleyball Recap: Bishop Miege Takes a Loss

Bishop Miege was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Valley Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-16.

Peyton Bonnel paced Bishop Miege's offense, picking up six kills. Bonnel got some help from Maryn Dean and her seven assists.

Bishop Miege's defeat dropped their record down to 5-24. As for Blue Valley, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Bishop Miege didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Basehor-Linwood on the 18th. As for Blue Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Park Hill on the 18th.
