Basketball Recap: Rochester School for the Deaf's Win on Sunday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rochester School for the Deaf had won two straight games and Kalena Sickler did her part to make it three on Sunday. The Rochester School for the Deaf Wildcats blew past Non Varsity Tournament Opponent 61-25 thanks in part to Sickler, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 27 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.

Ashley Stuhlberg was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times she's played.

Rochester School for the Deaf has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Rochester School for the Deaf will head out on the road to square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rochester School for the Deaf on February 7th.
