Elko and Fernley are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Saturday, Elko came up short against Churchill County and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Fernley earned a 3-1 victory over Lowry on Saturday. The Vaqueros haven't had any issues with the Buckaroos recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17.

Fernley's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Elko, they now have a losing record of 12-13.
