Basketball Game Preview: Bear River Bruins vs. Lincoln Fighting Zebras

Bear River hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Bear River Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lincoln Fighting Zebras at 7:30 p.m. Bear River has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Bear River is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest victory since December 28, 2024 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Mira Loma, sneaking past 67-64.

Meanwhile, Lincoln waltzed into their game on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They managed a 67-61 win over the Falcons.

Lincoln has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Bear River, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Bear River ended up a good deal behind Lincoln in their previous matchup back in January, losing 66-50. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lincoln's Michael Neely, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds.
