Evansville has gone 9-0-1 against Whitewater recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Blue Devils will square off against the Whippets at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Evansville came up short against Delavan-Darien and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Evansville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 155th, while Delavan-Darien are ranked 39th).

Jack Espinosa and Mason Roberts scored both of Evansville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Whitewater's offense. They fell just short of Monroe by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Whitewater have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Evansville's record is now 4-6-2. As for Whitewater, their record now sits at 5-5-2.

Evansville took their win against Whitewater when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 6-1 score. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Whippets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
