Volleyball Recap: Calabasas Takes a Loss

Calabasas lost against Thousand Oaks back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Coyotes lost 3-0 to the Lancers.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 25-17.

Charlie OConnell paced Calabasas' offense, picking up 12 kills. OConnell got some help from Grace Yang and her 14 assists. OConnell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Calabasas now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thousand Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Calabasas is set to square off against their familiar foe Newbury Park at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thousand Oaks will take on rival Westlake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
