The Platte Canyon Huskies will head out on the road to take on the Colorado Springs Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Platte Canyon took a loss when they played away from home on September 7th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Saturday. They secured a 26-20 W over Ellicott.

Platte Canyon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Hogsett, who rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance gave Hogsett a new career-high in rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Coffman, who rushed for 16 yards and two touchdowns.

Platte Canyon's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Colorado Springs Christian, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
