Basketball Game Preview: NorthWood Panthers vs. Columbia City Eagles

The NorthWood Panthers will face off against the Columbia City Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

NorthWood is headed into Tuesday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 34-29 to Penn, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, Columbia City waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They took their contest with ease, bagging an 80-22 victory over the Bulldogs. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Columbia City has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for NorthWood, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

NorthWood beat Columbia City 68-56 in their previous meeting back in December of 2018. Does NorthWood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbia City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
