Calvary Chapel is a perfect 3-0 against Santa Ana Valley since November of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will square off against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Calvary Chapel will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Calvary Chapel will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up ten points on September 12th, then bounced right back against Trinity Classical Academy on Friday. The Eagles strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 33-14. The Eagles pushed the score to 33-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights cut but never quite recovered from.

Calvary Chapel found their leader in sophomore Colin Wiles, who threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score.

Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley scored the most points they've had this season last Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 28-14 bruising from Santa Ana. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Saints recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Calvary Chapel will have to keep a close watch on Fern Dircio and Eduardo Vivas, a pair of players who had a big impact on Santa Ana Valley's prior game. Dircio rushed for 143 yards on only 15 carries, while Vivas rushed for 46 yards and one TD. Dircio's longest rush was for an impressive 53 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Calvary Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Santa Ana Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Everything came up roses for Calvary Chapel against Santa Ana Valley in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-6 win. In that matchup, the Eagles amassed a halftime lead of 42-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
