Basketball Recap: Chiawana's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Chiawana's and Lewis & Clark's contest on Saturday was close at halftime, but Chiawana turned on the heat in the second half with 40 points. The Chiawana Riverhawks were the clear victor by a 74-52 margin over the Lewis & Clark Tigers. The victory was nothing new for the Riverhawks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Chiawana pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.3 points. As for Lewis & Clark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chiawana will challenge Southridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewis & Clark, they will head out on the road to square off against University at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lewis & Clark is facing University at the right time seeing as University is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
