Kimball lost to Weston Ranch back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Kimball Jaguars walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Weston Ranch Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jaguars.

James Isler was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Isler was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

In other batting news, Dawson Pelech was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2024. Maddox Ahuero was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Kimball's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Weston Ranch, their record now sits at 0-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Jaguars challenge the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Weston Ranch, they will host Lathrop at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
