Preview: Keystone Wildcats vs. Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves
The Keystone Wildcats will play host again and welcome the Cuyahoga Heights Red Wolves, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Wednesday, everything came up roses for Keystone at home against Clearview as the team secured a 58-17 victory. Given Keystone's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Clearview is ranked 667th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keystone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Vivian Cassell, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Cassell is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Jessica Forthofer was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Heights entered their tilt with Harvey with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Cuyahoga Heights was the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over Harvey.
Keystone's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Cuyahoga Heights, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
