 Providence can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Salem Lions as the Providence Pioneers made off with  a  9-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Providence.
  Sydney Laslie made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Laslie was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Presley Hegedus, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.  Livy Theobald was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Providence is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record  this season. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
 Providence didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  9-6  defeat vs. New Albany on the 23rd. Salem has also already played their next contest,  a  19-2  victory against Austin on the 23rd.
