Football Game Preview: Clay County vs. Red Boiling Springs

On Friday, Clay County is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Red Boiling Springs at Battle of the Bulldogs at 7:00 PM. Clay County will be strutting in after a win while Red Boiling Springs will be stumbling in from a loss.

Clay County took care of business in their home opener. They blew past Jackson County 36-8.

Meanwhile, Red Boiling Springs had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 6-47 defeat at the hands of Cannon County.

Red Boiling Springs's loss took them down to 0-1 while Clay County's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. Their offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Clay County defensive front that amassed 3 sacks against Jackson County last Friday.
