Baseball Recap: Comanche Takes a Loss

Comanche fell victim to Lone Grove and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 last Monday.

This is the second loss in a row for Comanche and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Lone Grove, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Comanche will venture away from home to square off against Lawton at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Comanche is facing Lawton at the right time seeing as Lawton is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lone Grove, they will welcome Sulphur at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Sulphur's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Lone Grove's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
