It was a good run, but Pulaski unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak dating back to last season on Monday. They fell just short of the Appleton East Patriots by a score of 49-46. The loss was the Red Raiders' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pulaski fell to 2-1. As for Appleton East, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pulaski is headed away from home for the first time to take on Sheboygan South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Sheboygan South's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Appleton East, they will challenge Kaukauna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Appleton East has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests.
