Volleyball Recap: University Takes a Loss

University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Winter Park Wildcats. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-16.

University's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Winter Park, the victory (which was their 32nd in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will square off against Boone at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Boone's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Winter Park, they will take on Lake Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
