Soccer Game Preview: Union Mine vs. Rosemont

The Union Mine Diamondbacks will challenge the Rosemont Wolverines at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Union Mine's offense. They lost 6-0 to Bradshaw Christian on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Rosemont kept a clean sheet against Amador on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Buffaloes 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Christian Munoz, who's now up to four this season.

Union Mine's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Rosemont, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9-3.
