Volleyball Recap: Archbishop McCarthy Triumphs

Archbishop McCarthy posted their closest win since March 8th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Lake Nona Lions 2-1.

Archbishop McCarthy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-23, 15-13.

Nick Castillo paced Archbishop McCarthy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Castillo got some help from Stephen Blakely and his 20 assists. Finally, Castillo was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.
