Basketball Recap: Luck Comes Up Short

Luck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost to the Clear Lake Warriors on the road by a 46-29 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 362nd, while the Warriors are ranked 156th).

Luck's record now sits at 5-11. As for Clear Lake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Luck didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 55-21 defeat against Turtle Lake on the 4th. As for Clear Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-54 loss against Webster on the 4th.
