Soccer Game Preview: Bexley vs. Bloom-Carroll

The Bexley Lions will be taking part in a tournament against the Bloom-Carroll Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bexley's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Bishop Hartley. Mallory Lowe had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Bexley.

Meanwhile, Bloom-Carroll had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Hamilton Township on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Bloom-Carroll as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Bloom-Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1. As for Bexley, their win bumped their record up to 11-6-1.

Bexley beat Bloom-Carroll 2-0 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
