Football Recap: Huntsville Panthers vs. Florence Falcons
If Huntsville was riding high fresh off their 42-0 takedown of Albertville last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huntsville Panthers had to suffer through a 34-7 loss at the hands of the Florence Falcons. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Will Carter threw for 79 yards on nine of 17 attempts. On the ground,
Marlin Jones rushed for 75 yards.
Huntsville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Florence, the win also got them back to even at 4-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Huntsville will venture away from home to challenge Bob Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Florence, they will head out on the road to square off against Sparkman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
