Conemaugh Valley hasn't had much luck against Conemaugh Township recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Blue Jays will head out on the road to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Conemaugh Valley has six wins , while Conemaugh Township has eight dating back to last season).

On Monday, Conemaugh Valley beat Northern Cambria 63-50.

Conemaugh Township hadn't beaten Berlin Brothersvalley on the road since February 16, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Indians blew past the Mountaineers 60-39. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Conemaugh Township's win came from a few key players Conemaugh Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Colin Dinyar, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. Stephen Stango was another key player, going 7-for-16 on his way to 15 points along with seven steals and five assists.

Conemaugh Valley's record is now 6-0. As for Conemaugh Township, their record now sits at 8-0.

Conemaugh Valley lost to Conemaugh Township on the road by a decisive 67-51 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Blue Jays avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
