Basketball Recap: Dawson Takes a Loss

Dawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 50-15 loss at the hands of the Loop Longhorns. The Dragons were probably out for revenge after losing 43-25 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dawson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Loop, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-8.

Dawson will square off against Klondike at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loop, they will challenge Sands at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
