Softball Game Preview: Benjamin Logan Raiders vs. Carlisle Indians

The Benjamin Logan Raiders will challenge the Carlisle Indians at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Benjamin Logan saw some tournament action on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over Oakwood. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Carlisle waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Falcons get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The Indians not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 14-4).

Carlisle's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-12. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Benjamin Logan, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
