Basketball Recap: Lubbock Beats Estacado for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Lubbock won against Stephenville on Friday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Lubbock Westerners walked away with a 50-38 victory over the Estacado Matadors. For the Westerners, this counts as revenge for the 41-37 win the Matadors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory (which was Lubbock's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Estacado, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
