They didn't even let the Devine Warhorses / Arabians on the board on Friday, marking the Mustangs' second-straight 9-0 shutout. Kylee Ward was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carol Rodriquez, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March.
