Baseball Recap: Streetsboro Comes Up Short

If Streetsboro was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Windham on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets fell just short of the Norton Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Rockets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Panthers since on Monday.

Streetsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Norton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

While Streetsboro had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
