Baseball Recap: Princeville Takes a Loss

Princeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 13-8 to the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Princes of the 5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

Princeville's record is now 10-15-1. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, they moved to 12-15 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Princeville will challenge Annawan-Wethersfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games the Titans have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, they will take on Williamsville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
