Volleyball Recap: North Stokes Comes Up Short on the Road Against Bethany Community

North Stokes had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bethany Community Wolves. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 16 in a row.

North Stokes started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-15.

Bethany Community's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3.

North Stokes didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Alleghany on the 19th. As for Bethany Community, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against North Davidson on the 20th.
