Basketball Game Preview: Coupeville Wolves vs. La Conner Braves

The Coupeville Wolves will head out to square off against the La Conner Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Coupeville is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mount Vernon Christian just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a hard 61-47 fall against the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, La Conner waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They pulled ahead with a 56-55 photo finish over the Vikings.

La Conner has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points per game. As for Coupeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Coupeville lost to La Conner on the road by a decisive 55-41 margin in their previous meeting on January 10th. Can Coupeville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
