Recap: Woodlan Warriors vs. Prairie Heights Panthers
The Woodlan Warriors can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Prairie Heights as Woodlan made off with a 57-35 win. Winning may never get old, but Woodlan sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Brooke Kneubuhler, who scored 18 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Taylor Kneubuhler was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ava Boots, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Mckinlee Kain, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
Woodlan is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Prairie Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
Woodlan will face off against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Prairie Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
