Football Game Preview: St. Charles East Fighting Saints vs. Wheaton North Falcons

St. Charles East hasn't had much luck against Wheaton North recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Fighting Saints will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Friday, St. Charles East took a blow against Glenbard North, falling 42-13.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Wheaton North and St. Charles North had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Falcons lost 34-12 to the North Stars on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the North Stars are ranked 12th).

St. Charles East's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Wheaton North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
