Basketball Recap: Donahue Catholic's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If Donahue Catholic was riding high fresh off their 73-10 takedown of Naples Classical on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shamrocks took a hard 73-58 fall against the Barron Collier Cougars on Wednesday. The loss was the Shamrocks' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Donahue Catholic still got an impressive performance from Isaac Loboda, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 24 points and six rebounds. Loboda's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corban Copeland, who posted ten points and six assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Donahue Catholic fell to 3-1. As for Barron Collier, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Donahue Catholic will take on Seacrest Country Day in a tournament on Saturday. As for Barron Collier, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mariner at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
