Basketball Recap: Kennedy Memorial Comes Up Short

Kennedy Memorial lost against Metuchen back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs were beaten by the Metuchen Bulldogs 63-28. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 149th).

Kennedy Memorial has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Metuchen, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Kennedy Memorial will head out on the road to face off against Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Metuchen has already played their next contest (against Carteret), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
