Baseball Recap: Bland County Takes a Loss

If Bland County was riding high fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Craig County last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Bland County came up short against the Grayson County Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 18-9. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Bland County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Grayson County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bland County will face off against Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grayson County, they will take on Chilhowie at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
