Softball Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss

Scituate managed to slip by West Warwick the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans came up short against the Wizards on Wednesday, falling 15-2. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wizards apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Scituate saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Maggiacomo, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Scituate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Warwick, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Scituate will welcome South Kingstown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Warwick, they will face off against Westerly at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
