Football Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Crestwood lost against Valley View back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets fell 24-13 to the Cougars.

Jaden Shedlock threw for 121 yards and one touchdown. Jack Rodgers was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Jake Jeckell rushed for 60 yards on only eight carries.

Among those leading the charge was Tyler Muchal, who rushed for 90 yards and one score. An impressive showing, but he really ramped things up playing D: he forced one fumble and made 13 total tackles. Jeffrey Wasilchak was in the mix as well, providing Valley View with two TDs.

Crestwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley View, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Crestwood has already played their next contest, a 46-7 win against Tunkhannock on the 5th. As for Valley View, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-14 defeat against Wilkes-Barre on the 5th.
