The Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran Cadets had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Garrett, posting a 76-43 victory at home. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran to victory were Alivia Bolinger and Lauren Goodman. Bolinger scored 16 points along with three steals, while Goodman scored 11 points along with six steals and five assists. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kaelyn Ortiz, who scored 12 points.
Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Garrett, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger the next time they take the court. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran will host Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Garrett will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
