Basketball Recap: Seaside Extends Winning Streak to Three

Seaside waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Tillamook Cheesemakers 55-41. That's more bragging rights for the Seagulls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Seaside is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. As for Tillamook, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Seaside will venture away from home to take on Scappoose at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Scappoose knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Seaside likes a good challenge. As for Tillamook, they will face off against St. Helens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
