Recap: Cyprus Pirates vs. Farmington Phoenix

The Cyprus Pirates's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past Farmington with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. This was payback for Cyprus, who suffered a 71-19 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Cyprus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tamila Francis led the charge by scoring 18 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Francis has scored at least 25% of Cyprus' points. Amelia Echternkamp was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds.

Cyprus now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Farmington, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
