Recap: Sahuaro Cougars vs. Buena Colts
The Sahuaro Cougars can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They really took it to Buena for the full four quarters, racking up a 77-19 win on the road. With Sahuaro ahead 49-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Sahuaro's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ny'Anza Brown, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Cassandra Coolidge was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Sahuaro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Buena, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Sahuaro will be playing at home against Flowing Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buena, they will head out on the road to face off against Desert View at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Desert View has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14.
