After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Bernard's, Ferndale was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hoopa Valley Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ferndale not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Hoopa Valley between 17 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-17.

Amaya Mathews paced Ferndale's offense, picking up ten kills. Mathews got some help from Dalia Cantu-Mendez and her 15 assists. Danica Dowd controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Ferndale's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Hoopa Valley, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-19-1.

Ferndale has already played their next matchup (against Fortuna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hoopa Valley, they will be playing at home against St. Bernard's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
