After low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Neshannock brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand the South Side Rams an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. Neshannock might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by four goals or more this season.

Neshannock pushed their record up to 12-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four matchups. As for South Side, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12-1.

Looking ahead, Neshannock will be playing in front of their home fans against Sewickley Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Side, they will head out on the road to square off against Mohawk Area at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
