Football Recap: Haslett Beats Jackson for Their Third Straight Victory

Haslett's matchup on Friday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They put the hurt on Jackson with a sharp 32-10 victory. Given Haslett's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while Jackson is ranked 278th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win was the third in a row for Haslett, bringing their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.7 points over those games. As for Jackson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.

Haslett will host St. Johns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
