Flag Football Game Preview: Western Pioneers vs. Los Amigos Lobos

The Western Pioneers will square off against the Los Amigos Lobos at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.

Western is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Saddleback on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Pioneers were beaten by the Roadrunners 38-6. The Pioneers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Los Amigos). Everything went their way against Magnolia on Wednesday as they made off with a 32-7 victory. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Sentinels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Los Amigos' victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Western, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Western didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Los Amigos in their previous matchup last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 6-2 win. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lobos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
