Softball Game Preview: Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks vs. Coronado Dons

The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks will challenge the Coronado Dons at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Desert Sunrise has given up an average of 17.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Desert Sunrise lost 15-5 to Tempe on Thursday. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-27 heartbreaker at the hands of Dysart. On the bright side, the 27- run performance marked the Dons' highest-scoring contest to date.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Desert Sunrise, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.
