Softball Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. Walkertown Wolfpack

North Forsyth hasn't had much luck against Walkertown recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The North Forsyth Vikings will square off against the Walkertown Wolfpack at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

North Forsyth is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They lost 30-11 to R.J. Reynolds. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (ten), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Walkertown's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Wednesday. They fell just short of Rockingham County by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolfpack were not able to get on the board.

North Forsyth's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Walkertown, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

North Forsyth might still be hurting after the 15-0 loss they got from Walkertown when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can North Forsyth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
