Baseball Recap: Luther Comes Up Short

Luther made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Westby, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights fell just short of the Norse by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Knights have struggled against the Norse recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Luther's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Westby, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Luther will challenge rival Viroqua at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Westby is set to take on their familiar foe Black River Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
