Volleyball Recap: Corcoran Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Corcoran challenged Woodlake on Thursday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Corcoran started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-22.

This is the second loss in a row for Corcoran and nudges their season record down to 13-19-3. As for Woodlake, they pushed their record up to 21-15-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Corcoran nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
